Web Design for Small Business
An owner-operated business does not need a big agency arrangement; it needs a site that makes the phone ring. We build small business websites around the way customers actually buy: a page for every service, reviews placed where doubt creeps in, a quote form and click-to-call on every screen, and local SEO that puts you in front of nearby searches. It is the work behind 300+ websites shipped since 2019, including owner-operated businesses like Auckland Window Tinting.

What we deliver
The shape of a Small Business engagement.
Specific deliverables, not generic promises. Here's what ships when you work with us.
A page for every service you offer, because one generic services page cannot rank and cannot convert; Auckland Window Tinting runs seven, one per film and job type, and each catches its own searches.
An inquiry path built for how customers decide: a structured quote form that captures job type and details, a click-to-call number for mobile visitors, and your reviews surfaced next to both.
Local SEO that wins nearby searches, covering your Google Business Profile, reviews, citations, and service area pages, so the business surfaces when someone close by is ready to buy.
A site the owner can edit, built on WordPress or a stack your team can actually use, so updating hours, adding photos, or posting news does not require a developer.
Search-ready foundations from day one, with clean structure, fast load times, and analytics wired in, so you can see which pages bring inquiries instead of guessing.
Ongoing care that keeps it healthy, with updates, backups, security, and small content changes handled for you, so the site keeps working while you run the business.

Business Website
Auckland Window Tinting, an owner-operated window film specialist
Presents the full window film range across seven dedicated service pages and three clear categories
Auckland Window Tinting started in 2017 in Hawke's Bay as Elite Window Tinting and rebranded after relocating north to Auckland to be closer to family. As an owner-operated business covering a wide service area from Orewa in the north to Pokeno in the south, AWT needed a website that could clearly present a broad mix of work, including residential, commercial, and automotive tinting along with specialist films such as solar, safety and security, anti-graffiti, and decorative and designer films. The brand also needed the site to build trust quickly through customer reviews and a portfolio of completed jobs, and to make requesting a free estimate the obvious next step for every visitor.
WitsCode built the site on WordPress with Elementor (Hello Elementor theme, Pro Elements, and ElementsKit), giving AWT an editable, component-driven structure. The information architecture splits the offering into three top-level categories (Residential, Commercial, Automotive) and seven dedicated service pages: residential window film, solar window films, safety and security window films, anti-graffiti films, decorative and designer films, commercial and office window tint, and automotive window tinting. Supporting pages include About Us, a Gallery, a Blogs section, and Contact Us. The brand's premium film partners, MEP Films and LLumar, are surfaced across the site.
The homepage is built around clear comfort-and-protection messaging ("Shielding Your Spaces with Lasting Comfort," "Keep the sun out without losing your view") and leads into benefit-led explanations of heat, glare, UV, privacy, and security. A rotating set of named five-star customer reviews adds social proof, and a "Request a free estimate" block anchors the conversion path. The contact experience pairs a structured enquiry form (service type, film interest, and message fields built with MetForm) with a prominent click-to-call number, opening hours, location, and links to the brand's Instagram and Facebook profiles.
For discoverability and measurement, the site runs Rank Math SEO and Google Site Kit, with HubSpot scripts in place for lead capture and follow-up. The result is a focused, locally positioned site that reads as a one-stop service for window film and routes interested visitors straight to a quote.
Frequently asked
Questions before you reach out.
A small business website needs a page for every service, real reviews with names on them, photos of actual work, a quote or inquiry form, and a phone number visible on every screen, because most visitors arrive comparing two or three local options and pick the one that looks credible and is easiest to contact. That is the structure we built for Auckland Window Tinting: seven service pages, named five-star reviews, a gallery, and a structured quote form paired with click-to-call.
Yes, owner-operated businesses are a core part of the 300+ websites we have shipped since 2019, and Auckland Window Tinting is a working example: an owner-operated window film business whose site organizes residential, commercial, and automotive work into dedicated pages, builds trust with customer reviews and a gallery, and routes every visitor toward a free estimate. We scope the project to the job in front of you, not to an enterprise process.
Yes, SEO is often the highest-return channel a small business has, because local and service searches carry buying intent and the competition in most local markets is beatable, and we run it as an ongoing service: keyword mapping against your services, on-page structure, local SEO across your locations, and technical foundations search engines trust. RenéePrime Clinic, a multi-branch Mumbai clinic, runs on exactly this program, with its treatments mapped to the procedure and location searches patients actually type.
For most small businesses WordPress is the right call, because the owner can edit content, the ecosystem covers forms, booking, and SEO tooling, and the budget goes into pages that sell rather than plumbing, which is why builds like Auckland Window Tinting run on it. We build custom when the business outgrows templates: heavy integrations, an app-like experience, or performance demands WordPress fights. We will tell you which one you actually need.
More quote requests come from removing friction and adding proof: put a short structured form and a click-to-call number on every page, show named reviews and real job photos next to them, and make one clear ask per page instead of five competing buttons. Then feed the site with local SEO so the visitors arriving are nearby and ready. We audit existing sites for exactly these gaps before recommending a rebuild.
We do, through an ongoing care service that covers updates, backups, security and uptime monitoring, and the small content changes a business needs month to month, so the site stays fast, current, and safe without you learning WordPress administration or hiring for it. One-off fixes without a plan are possible too. Most owners choose the plan because a neglected site quietly stops converting.
