Spottle, an hourly creative space booking marketplace

Gives guests a single place to browse and book creative spaces by the hour

Creators, photographers, podcasters, corporate teams, and event organizers in Chennai and Bangalore needed a straightforward way to find and rent short-term creative spaces without the friction of back-and-forth inquiries and opaque pricing. On the other side of the market, space owners needed a simple way to put their studios, rooms, and venues in front of the people looking for them. Spottle set out to bridge that gap with a marketplace that makes spaces discoverable, prices transparent, and bookings quick to complete.

WitsCode built Spottle as a two-sided marketplace web application. Guests can explore listings filtered by city (Chennai or Bengaluru) and by category, including photo studios, podcast studios, meeting rooms and pods, workshop spaces, event venues, and restaurant spaces. Each listing is presented as a card with a descriptive name, category tags, location, and a clear starting hourly rate, linking through to an individual space page for booking.

For the supply side, the platform includes a host flow that lets space owners add a listing, set their own rates, and manage availability through an Add Listing path. Account security is handled with email verification, and the experience leans on an hourly pricing model with instant booking and transparent rates positioned as core differentiators, with messaging built around trusted hosts, easy booking, and no hidden fees.

Beyond the core booking flow, the build covers the supporting pages a live marketplace needs: an About section, a blog with space-related guides, FAQs, and the full set of policy pages (privacy, cancellation, terms and conditions, terms of service). A launch promotion mechanic (a discount code) is wired into the experience to support go-to-market.

Postgres row-level security with a tenant_id on every table, plus middleware that injects the active tenant into every query. We've used this pattern for marketplaces, agencies, and team-based SaaS. It scales cleanly past a million rows per tenant.

Yes. If you've used Cursor, Replit, or Bolt to get a prototype going and need a professional team to take it to production, that's a common engagement. We audit first, then rebuild what's brittle and keep what works.

Phase one is auth, billing, and the core loop your users have to use to get value. Everything else is parked. We get that phase live in 6 to 8 weeks, then iterate against real usage data rather than guessing at features.

Yes. Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres, and Stripe are the modern SaaS stack. The talent pool is huge, and we document the architecture, the data model, and the deploy flow so a new hire can ship in week one.
