The challenge
Where we started.
Sevvi needed a retail storefront stood up on a reliable, hosted commerce platform so the brand could move from idea to a sellable store without managing infrastructure. Before opening to the public, the brand also wanted a presence on its own .shop domain that could start collecting interested shoppers, so launch day would begin with an audience rather than from zero. The goal was a clean, low-risk path to selling online with room to grow the catalog over time.
Our approach
What we built.
WitsCode set Sevvi up on Shopify, giving the brand a managed commerce foundation that covers the parts of online retail that are costly to build from scratch: product catalog, cart, secure checkout, payments, and order management. Hosting the store on Shopify keeps the brand off self-managed servers and on infrastructure built for reliability and scale, so the team can focus on products and merchandising rather than platform maintenance.
Ahead of opening, the store runs a live coming-soon page on the brand's own sevvi.shop domain. The page leads with a clear "opening soon" message and a newsletter signup, turning early traffic into a subscriber list the brand can notify the moment it launches. Store access is password-gated during setup, a standard Shopify pattern that lets the team build out and stage the storefront privately before flipping it live to the public.
The storefront is wired and ready: domain connected, launch page published, and email capture running, with the full Shopify catalog and checkout stack waiting behind the password to go live when products are ready.
