  • Shopify wholesale storefront
  • Account-gated trade catalog
  • Multi-category product taxonomy
  • Multi-region and currency support

The challenge

Where we started.

Bro Coffee Wholesale supplies coffee, beverages, equipment, and consumables to businesses across hospitality, food service, retail, and corporate sectors. A wholesale operation like this needs more than a public catalog. It needs a storefront that presents a broad, structured product range, restricts pricing and ordering to verified trade customers, and frames the brand as a partner offering training and servicing rather than just a vendor. The site had to carry that full B2B model online while staying easy for cafe and restaurant buyers to navigate.

Our approach

What we built.

WitsCode built the store on Shopify and wrapped the catalog in account-based access gating. Pricing and products sit behind trade login, enforced through customer accounts and the EasyLockdown app, so the wholesale experience is reserved for approved business customers while the public brand pages stay open. New buyers reach the team through a wholesale account inquiry flow.

The catalog is organized into clear, navigable groups that span the full supply range: Coffee and Equipment (barista coffee, JDE, machines), Drinks and Ingredients (tea, hot chocolate, Monin syrups, matcha), Essentials (cups and lids, cleaning products, serving items), and Retail and Merchandising. The homepage carries the "Crafted with Passion, Perfected by Science" line and a "Crafted for Every Industry" message that positions the brand across hospitality and corporate use cases.

Beyond product supply, the site surfaces value-added services, barista training workshops and machine servicing, and supports multi-region browsing with currency selection and a content blog for seasonal offerings. Together these turn the storefront into a partner-style B2B platform rather than a plain product list.
